About Big Room

Big Room operates the .eco domain extension in partnership with the environmental community (see .eco names are for businesses, products, organizations, and individuals committed to positive change for the planet.

We are proud to be at the vanguard of companies dedicated to solving social and environmental problems. As a B Corporation, Big Room is now legally required to meet higher standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.

The Change We Seek®

Big Room's goal is to make it easier for people to make better and greener choices. They do that in two ways. First, they maintain the only global source for information on ecolabels and green product standards, and advise companies, purchasers and governmental agencies on green purchasing using standards. Second, they are building a global movement around the standards for a .ECO - as in - domain name ending. Working with the global environmental community, they successfully applied to be the creators of .ECO because they care deeply about creating and maintaining an online space for the sustainability community to share their important work, and to ensure integrity through transparency and accessibility of information.
