About caos! comunicação & design

Caos! comunicação & design is a creative studio that develops solutions in the areas of multiplatform communication and information design, in the search for results that can facilitate and broaden the range of transforming ideas and actions. With 10 years of experience in the market and relying on a multidisciplinary team, caos! has created complex projects for major brands, from strategy to implementation, always using design as a tool that allow the comprehension of the whole, not losing attention to details.

Believing in construction of networks, in exchange and in experience as promoters of knowledge, in the open source as an important mindset for transformation, caos! has been implementing actions and promoting ideas through their own projects. BRIO 2013, a national award for digital projects. Convescote, an open event of talks that happens every month with more than 70 editions held. Engenhoca, a lab for experimentation where the following projects where developed: galeria caos!, cromatográfico, B facts, egotweet and video:sprints.

In order to guide and evaluate it’s projects, caos! defined the following positive impact drivers: sustainability, transformation and legacy. These drivers translate objectively the focus and purpose of the studio and help to guide and review processes and objectives. Each driver is assessed according to the following criteria: reach, impact and duration. This creates metrics that can be compared over time and generates information that can be shared clearly.

Through the B Corp community, we found a network of people and companies that share ideas, ideals and values which have driven us for many years. It also brings new perspectives and practices to our own way of acting.

In a world where mass culture and global marketing create desires and subjectivities, where information is treated as a commodity and people as variables in algorithms, caos! believe in design as a promoter of a human-centered vision. Collaboration can contribute to building more truthful, responsible and transparent practices. In the quest to be one of the agents of this new movement, the studio seeks, through the establishment of interdependent local networks, to participate in and promote actions aligned with the ideas of new education, maker culture, open source, new production and distribution arrangements and organisms. The Customers section of the Assessment measures the impact a company has on its customers. The section focuses on whether a company sells products or services that promote public benefit, and if those products/services are targeted towards serving underserved populations. Questions in this section will measure whether a company's product or service is designed to solve a social or environmental issue (e.g. improves health, preserves environment or creates economic opportunity to individuals or communities, promotes the arts/sciences, or increases the flow of capital to purpose-driven enterprises).

The section also measures the company's practices and policies around community service and charitable giving.
