About Dadavan Systems

Data collection and analysis play a significant part in the planning and building of healthy and whole individuals and communities. Dadavan creates customizable data collection software for schools, communities and Indigenous peoples. Dadavan’s products translate data into community-generated knowledge that can be used to create positive impact through informed decision-making.

Their client relationships are not transactional, they are transformational. Every community they work with becomes much more than just a client - they become their partners. Whether their partners are focused on education, culture, health, or a combination of the three, Dadavan applies its philosophy of collaborative software customization. And as they continue to listen to the stories and ideas throughout the Dadavan community and abroad, they plan to continue developing more unique software tools to support their community partners.

Our corporate culture and products have always been guided by our mandate to improve the lives of the people who use our products. Becoming a B Corp seemed like a natural next step - to align with like-minded companies. We see it as an amazing opportunity to be part of a wider movement of companies committed to being socially responsible while making a difference with their business.

The Change We Seek®

Beyond creating software to empower communities, Dadavan is committed to giving back to the partners that use their products, to the community they live and work in, and to the environment.

Supporting Indigenous initiatives is firmly embedded in their Corporate Giving Strategy. They are committed to playing an active role in furthering the wellbeing of Indigenous Communities through charitable donations, free programming, and the Dadavan scholarship program.

Dadavan strategically sources goods and services from locally-owned independent businesses. In addition, whenever possible, they look to purchase good and services from businesses owned and managed by underrepresented segments of the marketplace, such as Indigenous-owned, woman-owned, owned by visible minorities, or owned by a person(s) with a disability.

In respect for the land, Dadavan continually strives towards “zero net impact”. Their company works to reduce their environment impact through their office compost and recycling programs; purchasing chemical free inks; using chemical free kitchen and cleaning products; and establishing an employee commuting program.
