Ongoing projects include ensuring long-term management, financing and success of protected areas in terrestrial and marine systems; program strategy and evaluations; developing strategy and pipeline for impact funds; and engaging the private sector in operational and philanthropic sustainability initiatives. Clients span NGOs (e.g., Conservation International, TNC), foundations (e.g., Walton Family Foundation), multi-lateral institutions (e.g., UNDP, GEF) and the private sector (e.g., BHP Billiton, Finance in Motion). Our goal is to help create a world where economic, social and environmental sustainability can co-exist and thrive.

Businesses can do well and businesses can do good. We believe these are not mutually exclusive - doing good can help a company do well. The B Corp framework helps demonstrate the value of doing good for our clients, our partners, and ourselves.

The Change We Seek®

EcoAdvisors’ mission is to help create a world where economic, social, and environmental sustainability can co-exist and thrive. The firm was founded with the belief that social and environmental sustainability is not only a moral obligation but is profitable in the long-term. This value comes in the form of revenue, enhanced public perception and social license to operate, resilience to market volatility, and preparedness in the face of change.

EcoAdvisors works across sectors to help incorporate the value of natural and social capital into business decisions – so that collectively we don’t lose what is important today and can continue to derive value well into the future. These gains can be preserved through operational or philanthropic means; EcoAdvisors has a variety of tools and processes to design and ensure long-term sustainability at project and programmatic levels. Sustainability has long been touted as a legacy we leave for future generations, which practically has meant we leave it to them as well. EcoAdvisors is convinced that we can get there today, and that it can be profitable.
