Food preservation has been part of the human routine for millennia. From drying and freezing to cold cellars and canning, food-storing wisdom has been passed down through generational history. In 2008, on a mission to extend the life of food naturally and without plastic, Toni Desrosiers invented Abeego—the first beeswax food wrap that breathes. Picking up where the peel leaves off, Abeego protects & breathes like food’s own peels, skins or rinds, keeping food fresher for longer. We believe this harmony with the natural world is what breathes life into the food that breathes life into us. Kitchens around the globe use Abeego to reduce food waste, save money, and forge a deeper connection with the food that nourishes them.
